Welcome to F:E:D - [fresh electronic delivery]
New Years Greetings from WDCF. Here is to a new year, a year of changes, a year of invention, a year of discovery, a year of inspiration, a year of creation, a year of pushing the limits... and of course of year full of links.

Evil Nine video by Preloaded. Great reels (A), (B). I'm happy to add that our computer systems are proud to be Y2K'05 compliant.

Reels of several incredible directors. Mostly commercial work and I'm sure you'll find something that strikes you as clever. If you watch enough of these commercials you'll pick up on the quick wit and obviousness of the un-obvious approach.

Great metaphors poking fun at the old age of computing. It makes for a nostalgic journey through this studio's work and the vision they bring to the mainframe.

IAAH (I Am Always Hungry)

Ness brings it. He is truely one of the great artists of this time and continues to out create with each new project. I got to work with him on the Turner Classic Movies project this past year. A great collaborative experience.

Bence Tóth

Kind of nice - I wonder why more briefcases don't have speakers built right in :) That could bring back the 'boom box' trend and start the 'boom box briefcase' trend.

Metroid Prime 2

The type sequence in the video that starts the site is really nice. Simple. The letters from the original title slide across and form other words in a systematic way. The site itself is quite a large space to explore.

Border's Giftmixer 3000

Way to go Borders! This is from a while back... but, with the holidays here this is really slick & has one of the best voice over voices I've heard in a long time. It does the job of sounding human and robotic at the same time. Clever project.

The New Deal

What a cool look. Check out this video - it is quite long - but the visuals are different and interesting. It is like Lego and Kid Robot swirled together and then moved by a puppeteer.

Lee Jeans

Retro style. If you can believe it, Lee has over 10 sites for all areas of their brand. They can all be found on the Lee Sites link. One of those sites is Buddy Lee which has some fun typography for all you font lovers out there.
